Sonnet 18

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?

Thou art more lovely and more temperate...

When in eternal lines to time thou grow'st So long as men can breathe or eyes can see, So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.

By William Shakespeare

How Do I Love Thee --------

How do I love thee?
Let me count the ways.

I love thee to the depth and breadth and height My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.

I love thee to the level of every day's Most quiet need, by sun and candlelight.

I love thee freely, as men strive for Right; I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.

I love with a passion put to use In my old grief's, and with my childhood's faith.

I love thee with a love I seemed to lose With my lost saints, -- I love thee with the breath, Smiles, tears, of all my life! -- and, if God choose, I shall but love thee better after death.

~ By Elizabeth Barrett Browning ~

Love Is -------

Love is patient;

Love is kind.

Love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude.

It does not insist on its own way: it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrong doing, but rejoices in truth.

Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

And now faith, hope, and love abide, and the greatest of these is love.

Your Fire ----------

I heard you think of me last night. Through the miles and the distant, I heard you think of me. Just as plain as if you were right here beside me. I watched the flames as they burned so delicately..... A sparkle here and a soft flicker there.....
It brought me back to the way it use to be.
The times when all I would ever do would be to think of you. Think of your wit and charisma. Think of how every word you ever said charmed me.
Looking deeper into the fire,
I let it seep deep within my soul.
All at once, my self built walls started to crumble. A new and better world came into sight.
That wall that had blocked and hardened my mind for so long now, started to finally disappear.
So comforting, such a warmth to my soul .
All at once I realized this was no ordinary fire......
It had brightened my life to new light.......
THIS WAS without a doubt---------

What I love.......

I love sunrises and sunsets. I love mountains and lakes. I love animals and all that the great outdoors has to offer. So amazing!

I love to listen to Kenny G play his sax like theres nothing else that could ever even come close to comparison. I love to hear Michael Bolton sing.

I love the way you smile at me and the way you laugh. I love your silly sense of humour and they way you make me feel when you are near.

I love to watch you kick your feet in the sand. I love the way my heart pounds at just the thought of knowing that you are here with me. That I am your world, and that you are mine.

I love the Opera and being the one by your side. I love the way your eyes light up when you hear Sara Brightman singing in a voice that could conquer the world.

I love your caring nature and how everything else in this life comes before your pleasures. I've often wondered if you were really an angel in disguise.

I love you. I loved you then, I love you now, and I will love you until I am no more.
And that's what I love.......
