When I awoke this morning.... I ran up town and mailed a package, came home and cooked then cleaned up... The normal things most of us do from day to day. Hectic busy schedules, coming and going and never stopping to take the time to just breathe... to relax. I decided to go outside , get the horses out, let them roam and eat and to fall out on the ground and just "BREATHE"! Oh how nice! To hear the calm... to feel the gentle breeze blowing through my hair... to hear the creeks little waterfalls in the distant background. I looked up at the beautiful bright blue sky and saw the fluffy white clouds floating abundantly. Oh what a sight to see... The kids playing in the soft background ... and I thought, NOW THIS IS LIFE! Never let a day go by without feeling and seeing what life really is. There is so much in the simplicities of life. I love to let nature surround me. To let its calming embrace take over me. To wipe my mind totally... my thoughts go back to years gone by. To memories that sometimes overwhelm me. I remember skipping rocks across the old strip pit lake... How much fun that was. Running in the rain and coming in just soaking wet. Lying on the ground and rolling down that small but steep little hill in my neighbors yard. Rolling down to the bottom and jumping right back up just to do it all over again. Now that my friend, thats living! That is the true meaning of life. Clear your mind and let those memories fill your heart. Having a bad day? Feeling alone? When I woke up this morning............
